CASE STUDY
PARKDEAN RESORTS
As the UK’s largest holiday park operator, Parkdean Resorts host over 3 million holidaymakers each year across their 66 rural and coastal locations.
To ensure they offer the best possible experience for holidaymakers, the Parkdean Resorts team consists of thousands of friendly members running their extensive on-site retail, leisure and entertainment offerings each season.
Infinity Inc. has become a key partner for the business over recent years, supplying uniform solutions for their talented and passionate entertainment team.
When the Parkdean Resorts team were looking to refresh their iconic Trouper uniforms they came straight to our uniform specialist Laura:
“Having developed and delivered their previous uniform we knew that the new collection had to be versatile, comfortable and hardwearing. The Troupers are hosting the resorts activities day and night which includes regularly performing on stage, so they need to look smart and be practical."
The existing Trouper uniform consisted of a bright pink blazer over a blue t-shirt printed with their Starland Krew mascots, paired with smart navy trousers and shoes.
Whilst Parkdean were happy with the existing elements of the uniform, they wanted to explore pantone matched fabrics that aligned to their branding.
When The Infinity Inc. team received the brief from Parkdean Resorts, the first thing our in-house designers explored was how we could tailor each element of the blazer to their bold branding.
We understand that there is often a need to balance bespoke solutions with budget requirements. That's why we specialise in developing ranges that scale from fully bespoke garments where each component is customised, to curating off-shelf items which can be enhanced with carefully considered features such as buttons and tax tags.
Once the initial design concepts were created we sourced samples from the Far East to check each component for colouring, design and performance. The updated uniform simplified the blazer to block purple, with pantone matched buttons and lining whilst the mascot tee took on their bold pink colour with blue collar.
With positive feedback from the Parkdean Resorts team we moved ahead with pre-production samples of the final collection.
In summer 2023 the dazzling new Trouper uniforms landed at Parkdean Resorts across the country. In early 2024 new badges and footwear will also be rolled out to the team with the next delivery of updated uniform. This is following a footwear trial one of the sites took part in, testing the new option to ensure it worked for every aspect of the Troupers role. The new footwear range is not only a more cost effective solution, but has enhanced styling and sturdiness - which is essential for the daily wear of the team.
"The Infinity Inc. team have been fantastic to work with and have consistently provided solutions that reflect our brand. I trust them to deliver quality solutions every time. Recently, Laura & Tabitha from Infinity visited our ‘Cayton Bay’ resort in Scarborough to see our new uniform in action and gather feedback from the wearers. This demonstrates how much they care about the success of this project and their commitment to providing exceptional service."
