Benefit Cosmetics BadGal Bounce Mascara Launch
To celebrate the launch of their new BADgal Bounce Mascara, Benefit Cosmetics organised a series of exclusive pop-up events for their beauty fans and customers.
To enhance the experience, they wanted a unique range of merchandise that aligned with the Bounce Mascara branding and theme. Having worked with Benefit for many years on various customer and colleague campaigns, they turned to our specialist merchandise team to bring their vision to life.
To get started Benefit provided us with visual brand assets for their Club Bounce concept and a carefully curated mood board for inspiration that showcased basketball-themed apparel.
The goal was to create an exclusive collection that reflected the vibrant energy of the product launch while tapping into current fashion trends. The chosen garments needed to be stylish, cohesive with the Club Bounce branding, and resonate with their customer base.
Our in-house design team got to work by carefully selecting garments that fit the aesthetic and colour palette of the BADgal Bounce Mascara campaign. Recognising the popularity of oversized leisurewear, we sourced high-quality pieces that aligned with this trend while maintaining the playful, sporty feel of the campaign.
Sweatshirts: We designed a custom Bounce varsity graphic for the sweatshirts, perfectly capturing the energetic, basketball-inspired theme. A second sweatshirt with a large Benefit Bounce graphic located on the back, ensured a stylish yet brand-focused look.
Sports Socks: To complement the apparel, we designed classic sports socks, a staple in any athleisure wardrobe.
Tote Bags: Keeping in mind both functionality and branding, we included tote bags featuring Benefit’s Club Bounce branding, providing a practical yet stylish accessory for fans.
Once the final designs were approved by Benefit, we moved into production. All garments were printed and pressed at our Leeds-based HQ, ensuring quality control and timely delivery. By leveraging our expertise in apparel printing and brand merchandising, we successfully brought Benefit’s vision to life.
The exclusive BADgal Bounce Mascara merchandise collection was a hit at the pop-up event, with fans eagerly embracing the stylish, sporty pieces. The event received great coverage across social media, with fans sharing their experiences at the interactive pop-up on Instagram and TikTok.
The collection not only enhanced the overall event experience but also strengthened Benefit’s brand identity through fashion-forward, on-trend apparel. Following the event, the range of sweatshirts, bags, and socks we created were made available for purchase on TikTok Shop.
